The Darling Harbour is the main tourist, recreational and entertainment hub in Sydney. Here you'll find an endless array of shops, restaurants, pubs and hotels in a waterfront setting, within a short walking distance from the CBD. The Sydney Aquarium, Maritime Museum and Imax Theatre are all nearby. A bit further out are the Sydney Entertainment Centre, the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, and the Powerhouse Museum. You will need a few days just to visit all the venues. The Maritime Museum and Powerhouse Museum are worth a visit for the great exhibitions.
