Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an
The Terracotta civilization is from the 210 BC but was discovered by a bunch of farmers in 1974. The average height of this army ranges from 6 to 6.5 feet and they are standing as per their roles; it seems just ready to go for the war all fully dressed with their weapons. The generals are in the front being the tallest followed by acrobats, bowman and infantry soldiers. This site is totally unbelievable, breathtaking and is considered one of the wonders of the world. In total, there are over 8000 soldiers, 130 chariots, 520 horses, and 150 cavalry horses. Much of it is still buried in the grounds.
It is said that the statues were constructed by local craftsman. In total, eight different kinds of moulds were used to create the face. Clay was added to the mould to give a proper structure and facial expression. All of them vary in their height, hair style as per their rank. There are a total of four pits that are 7 meters deep. The fist pit is 230 meters long and has 8000 odd figures. The ceiling is all water proof and made of reed mats and is wooden. This is for sure worth seeing and must not be missed by anyone who visits china.

Hong Kong HISTORY
Under the principle of "one country, two systems", Hong Kong's economic and political systems differ from those of mainland China.[12] Hong Kong is one of the world's leading international financial centres, with a major capitalist service economy characterised by low taxation and free trade. Under colonial rule, it espoused minimum government intervention under the ethos of positive non-interventionism.[13] The Hong Kong dollar is the 9th most traded currency in the world.
Hong Kong's independent judiciary functions under the common law framework.[15] Its political system is governed by the Basic Law of Hong Kong, its constitutional document, which stipulates that Hong Kong shall have a "high degree of autonomy" in all matters except foreign relations and military defence.[16] Although it has a burgeoning multi-party system, half of its legislature is controlled by a small-circle electorate. The Chief Executive of Hong Kong, the head of government, is selected by an 800-person Election Committee.
Hong Kong became a colony of the British Empire after the First Opium War (1839–42). Originally confined to Hong Kong Island, the colony's boundaries were extended in stages to the Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories by 1898. It was occupied by Japan during the Pacific War, after which the British resumed control until 1997, when China regained sovereignty.

However, the builders committed to finishing this great work are determined to see it to the end. Wars and anarchists have delayed the temple’s construction. Some of the original ideas of Gaudi have been modified with the passage of time. La Sagrada is filled with Christian symbolism, with detailed sculptures and majestic spires adorning the facility.
Construction on the temple began in 1881, and architect Antoni Gaudi dedicated several years of his life to making the Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia the “last great sanctuary of Christendom.” It is one of Gaudi’s most famous works in Barcelona. La Sagrada Familia is dedicated to the Holy Family. La Sagrada Familia is constantly evolving into a more stunning masterpiece. The landmark is one of the most popular attractions in Spain, though its construction has taken more than 100 years and is still underway today. La Pedrera Spain Travel Deals
The Casa Mila was Gaudi's last secular commission, and his last work before devoting himself to his masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia church, which, along with the Park Guell, round out the three main Gaudi attractions in Barcelona. The wrought-iron balconies were individually designed and crafted by Gaudi's frequent collaborator, Josep Maria Jujol. The rippled stone façade, said to have been inspired by the mountain of Montserrat, curves around the street corner, while the cave-like balconies seem to flow into one another. meaning stone quarry, was completed in 1911 and received a less than enthusiastic response.
The Casa Mila, more commonly known as La Pedrera. Of the many architectural Barcelona attractions to see during your stay in Spain, Antoni Gaudi's Casa Mila apartment building is another of the artist's strange creations that shouldn't be missed.
