Giethoorn- “The Water Village”

Giethoorn is a car-free township situated in the Dutch region of Overijssel. Why it's car-free? Well, it's because Giethoorn village has no transportation; all transports are through by water, over one of the many canals. There are also cycling path in this old village.

This Netherlands well-known sightseer destination also known as "Venice of the North". Giethorn village is more like natural scenery compared to the jam-packed cultural inheritance of the notorious Italian city.
