Taiwan's Taroko Gorge

Taiwan's Taroko Gorge in the East's most popular tourist attractions in the country: spectacular Valley 12 - mile-long cliff face of pure, white water rivers and stunning waterfalls that remind one of the rings wonderland.

Taroko Gorge mostly marble and granite has been formed. Name, Taroko, meaning "magnificent and splendid" in the language Truku, the indigenous tribes living in the area.

The most extraordinary aspect of the park is an amazing relief. In an afternoon you can only rugged coastal cliffs through the maze of valleys subtropical forest to forest, high elevation subalpine cone travel.
About 21 km from sea level rise perspective to some of Taiwan's highest peak at over 3850 meters. So steep!
