Eating in Mukah - Lunch Day Two

On the second day we had lunch at another seafood restaurant. More of the same things, but I never get tired of seafood.

Started with some vegies - stir-fried baby bok choy with garlic, carrots and straw mushrooms.

Then came the deep-fried squids, again. No more after this, I promise !

Buttered prawns. Normally the sauce is more sticky. This version the sauce was quite runny. Not up to the normal standard.

Stir-fried cucumber with eggs. After all the meat, this is a very refreshing change. Cooked cucumber takes on a very different taste from when it's raw. It's more like a squash. Very easy to cook at home, you should give it a try.

This day, we had the mud crabs. They were stir-fried with scallion, eggs and pepper. With good crabs you don't need to do very much. These were good !
