As per Australian government's customs laws, when entering the country, you are not permitted to bring weapons, illegal firearms, steroids, illegal drugs, perishable items (certain food items), and protected wildlife. There is no limit on the amount of cash you are allowed to bring into the country, but if the amount is equal to or over AU $10,000, you will need to declare it.
